The Academy was founded with a vision to promote Indian Classical Music and Dance. Located in South Bangalore, the academy is one of the prime organisations in Bangalore's cultural scene. Since April 1992, the Academy has been organising monthly music concerts by leading and upcoming artists. Having started with one concert a month, it is now organizing nearly Twenty five concerts a year. These also include Classical Dance programmes and also Hindustani Music concerts.
